Raw Banana Chocolate Chunk Protein Balls

Makes: 15 balls

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 2 scoops Pounamu Protein (we recommend Chocolate, Energy or Recovery)
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon tahini or nut butter
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 50g dark chocolate, chopped

METHOD:

  1. Place rolled oats and coconut into a blender and blend until flour is formed.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients, except the chocolate and blend until a dough is formed.
  3. Mix in the chocolate chunks.
  4. Using wet hands, roll into balls.
  5. Place the balls in the freezer to set for about 30 minutes.
  6. Store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
